Bellator champion Brent Primus will defend his title for the first time against former titleholder Michael Chandler.

Primus has not fought since his June 2017 title challenge against then-champ Chandler, which resulted in a first-round TKO win.

Michael Chandler has won two straight since losing his belt in shocking fashion last year. Most recently, he submitted Brandon Girtz at the same show at which he was supposed to rematch Primus. Before that, he dominated Goiti Yamauchi en route to a decision win.
