AMA Supercross is a popular and high-energy off-road motorcycle racing series that is sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA). It is one of the premier forms of professional Supercross racing in the United States. Supercross involves racing on artificial, man-made dirt tracks inside large stadiums, which are filled with jumps, whoops, and tight corners, creating a challenging and thrilling race environment.
The series attracts top riders from around the world, competing in different classes, such as 450cc and 250cc. Major motorcycle manufacturers, including Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, KTM, and Husqvarna, field teams in these competitions.
The Supercross season typically runs from January to May. Races take place in various cities across the United States, and the series culminates in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. The championship rounds often include prestigious events like the Daytona Supercross.
