SailGP's 2024–2025 season, officially the Rolex SailGP 2025 Championship, marks the league's fifth and most expansive season to date, featuring 14 events across five continents. This season introduces events in Brazil, Germany, Switzerland, and a return to Great Britain, expanding the global reach of SailGP. A record prize pool of US$12.8 million has been announced for this season, reflecting the league's growth and the heightened level of competition. The Australian SailGP team, a dominant force in the league, has experienced significant roster changes. Wing trimmer Kyle Langford has moved to the new Red Bull Italy team, led by CEO Jimmy Spithill, and is replaced by British sailor Chris Draper, marking the team's first non-Australian member. Additionally, reserve sailor Ed Powys has joined ROCKWOOL Team Denmark, seeking more opportunities on the water.
