IMSA SportsCar Championship is a planned motor racing championship, set to be the 56th racing season sanctioned by the International Motor Sports Association.Supported classes: Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) (LMDh and LMH), Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2), GT Daytona Pro (GTD Pro) and GT Daytona (GTD).Championship points are awarded in each class at the finish of each event. Points are awarded based on finishing positions in qualifying and the race. The winner in qualifying gets 35 points, second 32, third 30. For 30 place driver receive 1 point. In the race winner gets 350 points, second 320, third 300. For 30 place driver receive 10 points.
