As countries come together to determine who will win the continent's football championship, the 34th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is sure to enthrall football fans. A total of 628 players will be representing the 24 qualified countries in the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON. The French Ligue 1 dominates with a total of 61 players playing in the topflight. Led by Mohammed Salah, thirty-one players are joining from the Premier League and could have been more if not for injuries to Thomas Partey and Wilfred Ndidi among others. Twenty-four men's national teams from Africa will play in the CAF Africa Cup of Nations, which is due to be held in Côte d'Ivoire from 13 January to 11 February 2024.
